Les Deux Alpes

Les 2 Alpes is a fabulous resort and like Tignes is glacial and snowsure boasting the largest skiiable glacier in Europe, as a result it’s a great bet for early and late season skiing with the terrain topping out at 3600m. Like Alpe D’Huez which is literally just across the valley, Les 2 Alpes it’s not a purpose built resort but again you are never far from a lift or the slopes and we have some excellent accommodation to choose from to suit pretty much any group size and taste.

 

The ski area itself is approx 220km in size so again it’s a very respectable resort for all abilities. The glacier is actually the best beginner area in that it has vast, wide green and blue runs to cruise, but there are also the pre requisite nursery slopes in the village. The runs back down into the resort become a little more technical, however for those that don’t fancy the run’s back to town there are excellent lift facilities to get you down.

 

There is also skiing on the other side of the resort favouring beginners and intermediates. From a nightlife perspective Les 2 Alpes is one of the best for entertainment and variety with masses of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and budgets.

 

Our accommodation is largely based around the older, more traditional end of the village and we can cater for the budget conscious in studio apartments to those groups wanting a chalet with it’s own plunge pool and sauna.

 

The prices here are exceptional considering Les 2 Alpes status as another top ten French resort and you won’t be disappointed. This resort will keep all abilities very happy and the nightlife is worth sampling, again we have our own Yeti bar here so we can also do some fantastic food and drinks deals.
